Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Financial Analyst Specialist to join the FP&A team in a hybrid role, working three days a week in office at Denver, CO. You will lead financial analysis, forecasting, and business partnering across platforms, developing models and governance structures to support planning and control.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in Finance or related field and 7+ years of experience in financial analysis within payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and data management within the payments industry.
• Revenue accounting experience.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement forecasting models to predict financial performance.
• Own forecasting process from end-to-end.
• Establish processes and governance structures.
• Research and compile data to forecast and prepare annual and monthly budget projections for a division or similar group of organizations.
• Track revenue and expenses monthly, comparing actual to forecasted figures, and making necessary adjustments.
• Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare regular financial reports to keep leadership informed about key metrics and financial health.
• Analysis to support KPIs & OKRs for leadership.
• Leverage advanced analytics to enhance performance reporting and support data-driven decision-making.
• Provide valuable insights into performance metrics, helping prioritize and track progress against overall targets.
• Assess existing tools and identify new ones to streamline processes, increase productivity, and reduce manual effort.
• Coordinate efforts to align with long-range planning (LRP) and annual planning cycles.
