Job summary

SanMar, located in Issaquah, WA, is hiring a Financial Analyst to support the Finance Department with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, KPI development and decision support. The role involves analyzing variances, preparing monthly and quarterly reports, and building financial models for strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years FP&A experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with Excel and Dynamics 365.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business, finance or equivalent experience.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of strong FP&A experience and demonstrated ability to develop strong pro-forma and financial analysis.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in business intelligence data design to support analytics and decision support.
• Business understanding with an ability to analyze performance and drivers of value creation.
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and report on large financial data sets.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, Microsoft Dynamics D365 and Access skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
• Prepare and analyze quarterly and monthly financial and management reports as well as ad hoc reporting.
• Assist with business intelligence tools and dashboard reports.
• Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies.
• Develop financial models and analyses to support operational, financial, and strategic decisions with an understanding of valuation methodology including ROI, NPV and scenario analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
