Job summary

SanMar is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Finance Department with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI development. You will build financial models, analyze variances, and deliver actionable insights to drive value.

The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, use of BI dashboards, and rigorous data analysis to inform strategic decisions. Hybrid work with eastside WA office in Issaquah is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or finance, or equivalent experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of FP&A experience with pro-forma and financial analysis.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and decision‑making skills.
• Experience in business intelligence data design to support analytics and decision support.
• Strong business understanding with ability to analyze value drivers.
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and report on large financial data sets.
• Advanced Excel, Dynamics D365 and Access skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance indicators, analyze trends and variances.
• Prepare quarterly and monthly financial and management reports and ad hoc reports.
• Assist with business intelligence tools and dashboard reports.
• Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies.
• Develop financial models to support operational, financial, and strategic decisions (ROI, NPV, scenarios).
• Perform other duties as assigned and ensure policy compliance.
