Job summary

SanMar Corp. is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Finance Department in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, KPI development and margin/expense analysis. You will help develop models and provide decision support across operations and strategy.

The role requires 2+ years of FP&A experience, strong Excel and BI skills, and the ability to analyze large datasets. Hybrid work at the Issaquah, WA office with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent in business/finance.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 2+ years FP&A experience with pro-forma and financial analysis.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in business intelligence data design to support analytics and decision support.
• Business understanding with an ability to analyze performance and drivers of value creation.
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and report on large financial data sets.
• Advanced Excel skills, Microsoft Dynamics D365 and Access skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
• Prepare quarterly and monthly financial and management reports as well as ad hoc reporting.
• Assist with business intelligence tools and dashboard reports.
• Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies.
• Develop financial models and analyses to support operational, financial, and strategic decisions with an understanding of valuation methodology including ROI, NPV and scenario analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
