Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a GSSO Security Financial Analyst to support weekly and monthly forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis for a $3.5B bookings business.

This hybrid role requires collaboration across time zones and cross-functional teams, helping drive accuracy in financials and business insights. You will build and maintain forecasting models, consolidate forecasts by GEO and product, and identify risks and opportunities while leveraging automation and AI to improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a financial analyst, FP&A, Sales Finance, or related role.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to translate findings into actionable insights.
• Highly detail oriented and organized with ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional and global stakeholders.
• Ownership of recurring financial processes including collecting, validating, reconciling, and consolidating inputs.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and drive process improvements within financial reporting and forecasting.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to work with financial data and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the weekly and monthly GSSO forecast decks with timely, accurate financial reporting and performance analysis.
• Consolidate the GSSO GEO’s forecast to report Security Forecast by GEO & Product.
• Serve as main point of contact for forecast consolidation, distribution & reporting metrics for a distributed team.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to understand Security forecasts and drivers behind updates.
• Maintain and build financial models supporting forecasting for various bookings types (Hardware/Software/Recurring/ACV).
• Drive process simplification and operational excellence through automation and standardization.
• Conduct pipeline analysis to identify challenges and opportunities in the business.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and projects as needed.
• Proactively analyze data to call out risks and opportunities in Security business.
• Leverage AI to automate workflows.
