Job summary

Cherry Bekaert Recruiting & Staffing Services partners with a well-established organization to identify a Financial Analyst to join their FP&A team. This high-impact, hands-on role reports directly to the Director of FP&A and supports multiple operational business groups.

This position offers strong visibility, ownership of analyses, and long-term growth within a collaborative finance function, with hybrid work options in the Bethesda/Baltimore area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with budgets and forecasts (ownership preferred).
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support departmental and cost-center budgets across multiple operating teams.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.
• Build and maintain financial models for planning and decision-making.
• Conduct budget vs. actual variance analysis and prepare management-ready reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand drivers, assumptions, and trends.
• Contribute to month-end and quarter-end analysis and reporting processes.
