Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Forecast & Analysis Consultant I to coordinate and manage forecasting and analytics for FEP operations. You will build 6–36 month demand and workforce forecasts, partnering with WFM, Operations, and Data & Reporting Analytics to enable proactive staffing and budgeting.

Responsibilities include refining models, translating forecasts to headcount, and providing data-driven insights for strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in business or related field.
• 5+ years in data collection, analysis and reporting.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Monitor forecast accuracy and refine models using variance analysis.
• Translate volume forecasts into headcount, FTE, and skill-mix requirements.
• Partner with WFM to align long-range forecasts with scheduling and intraday management.
• Support hiring, backfill, cross-training, and redeployment strategies.
• Coordinate and manage all WFM analysis and forecasting processes.
• Ensure data quality and integrity of insights shared with the business.
• Provide data-driven insights to inform strategic initiatives and growth planning.
• Quantify workforce impacts of new programs, regulatory changes, or benefit design shifts.
• Present forecasts, assumptions, and risks to leadership.
• Create executive summaries and advise on dashboard development.
• Serve as liaison for the FEP WFM forecast processes and annual operating plan.
• Ensure forecasting methodologies align with targets and plans.
