Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Forecast & Analysis Consultant to coordinate all forecasting and WFM analysis for FEP operations. You will build 6–36 month demand and workforce forecasts, partnering with WFM, Operations, Comprehensive Health Management, and the Data & Reporting Analytics team to provide forward-looking insights that enable proactive staffing, budgeting, and capacity planning.

The role emphasizes developing predictive models, translating forecasts into headcount and skill mix,

Qualifications

• Requires BA/BS degree in business or related field; a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in data collection, analysis and reporting; or any combination of education and experience.
• Strong analytical and forecasting skills with experience in workforce planning and scheduling.
• Experience with workforce management tools and BI tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors forecast accuracy and refines models using variance analysis.
• Translates volume forecasts into headcount, FTE, and skill-mix requirements.
• Partners with WFM to align long-range forecasts with scheduling and intraday management.
• Supports hiring, backfill, cross-training, and redeployment strategies.
• Ensures data quality and shares insights with the business.
• Provides data-driven insights to inform strategic initiatives and growth planning.
• Presents forecasts, assumptions, and risks to leadership.
• Serves as liaison for forecast processes and annual operating plan.
