Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to leverage strong functional and technical expertise across systems and applications. This role defines, evaluates, and validates requirements, business design, and technical design for complex issues within assigned domain areas.

As a liaison, you will help develop effective technical solutions, coordinate with IT on testing, upgrades, and large projects, and lead testing strategy to ensure business needs are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 7+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical knowledge and support in system/application issues to the business and IT.
• Review, analyze and develop solutions and business processes for business systems while quantifying business impact.
• Coordinate ongoing user support for ad hoc questions and service requests.
• Ensure efficiency of reporting and data tools for trend analysis.
• Coordinate development of system support processes with IT and resolve production issues.
