Job summary

Ian Martin Group is seeking a Fixed Assets Reporting Analyst for a 12-month contract in Houston, hybrid work. You will support monthly fixed asset accounting, close, reconciliations and reporting for Enbridge Gas, ensuring accurate asset records and compliance.

Responsibilities include processing asset transactions, journal entries, reconciliations, and PPE rollforwards, while collaborating with auditors and stakeholders to drive process improvements and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in fixed asset accounting & general accounting.
• Knowledge of month-end close processes, journal entry preparation, and reconciliations.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities & meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly fixed asset transactions in UGL and EGD systems (asset additions, retirements, depreciation, overhead).
• Support monthly fixed asset close with reconciliations and reporting.
• Prepare, review and post monthly journal entries.
• Complete PPE rollforwards and related schedules for accuracy.
• Generate recurring and ad hoc reports for Tax, FP&A and auditors.
• Support SOX compliance documentation and audits.
