Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years in financial services, preferably in marketing or sales.
• Equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training accepted by HR.
• Experience in marketing, sales or business development in financial planning or investment management environment.

Responsibilities

• Initiates outbound sales calls and responds to inquiries, including follow-up and material delivery.
• Participates in professional organizations to expand network of business contacts.
• Establishes and maintains a prospect database.
• Develops new client relationships to meet sales goals.
• Assists in developing product positioning documents and content for materials and seminars.
• Analyses sales trends, product demand and marketing strategies.
• Supports marketing programs and messaging for assigned products.
• Participates in advisor and client seminars and other sales events.
• Executes business development strategies for the branch.
• Gathers information on prospects for the sales process.
