Job summary

Basys is seeking a Financial Data & BI Analyst to own data-driven financial reporting within Finance while supporting month-end close. The role blends data-work like Power BI development, data lake/warehouse connections, and financial modeling to restore a critical capability gap and add redundancy for key processes.

You will translate data into actionable insights, develop value streams and P&Ls, and collaborate across Finance, Product, and Operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance/Analytics or related field required.
3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, BI, or related analytical role.
Experience with data warehouses and data lakes preferred.
Advanced Power BI (data modeling, DAX, performance optimization) desired.

Responsibilities

Own Finance reporting tools and dashboards, including Power BI development and maintenance.
Build and maintain connections to data lake and data warehouse environments.
Develop and manage data models supporting financial reporting across multiple systems.
Deliver ad hoc reporting and analysis to reduce reliance on other teams.
Validate and QA reporting across Sales, Operations, and Product.
Support development of value stream reporting and product-level P&Ls.
