Broadridge Financial Solutions is hiring a Finance Data Analyst – Data Analytics & Reporting in Edgewood, NY (Hybrid). The role focuses on designing insightful reporting, performing month-end close tasks, and delivering dashboards for senior management across the finance organization.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance and strong skills in PowerBI, SQL, and data visualization tools with experience handling large data sets and cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or other applicable fields.
• Experience working in a fluctuating environment where multiple projects must be handled at the same time.
• Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools and programming languages (SQL).
• Strong project management to drive data projects and provide timely and accurate results.
• Strong analytical skills with focus on trend analysis.
• Ability to configure mass amounts of data into structured reporting dashboards easily understood by end users and Senior Management.
• Basic knowledge of PowerBI and ability to learn new analytical and workflow technologies (Alteryx, Snowflake, etc.).
• Outstanding ability to digest reporting metrics and communicate the impact to senior management.
• Basic knowledge of general accounting principles & finance terminology

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth data driven analysis across the Finance organization.
• Assist with month-end/quarter-end reporting tasks in the O2C organization including Credit Memo Reserve & Reporting processes and reconciliations.
• Design reporting dashboards using PowerBI on an adhoc basis to satisfy diverse business needs.
• Access mass amounts of data and convert to a format for in-depth analysis of Accounts Receivable, Billing and Pricing metrics.
• Collaborate with the data platform team to ensure data availability for accurate dashboards.
