Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Financial Analyst - Strategic Analytics (Hybrid) to analyze monthly insurance premiums and fringe benefit-related expenses, ensure contract compliance, and drive process improvements. The role requires collaboration across finance, legal, and operational teams to strengthen internal controls.

The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in accounting or finance, 3+ years of accounting/analysis, strong communication and analytical skills, and experience with Excel and SAP;

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in accounting or finance required.
• 3+ years experience in accounting and analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP.
• Hyperion/Essbase, Access, Power BI, SQL experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze contractual data, identify trends and provide reporting for decision making.
• Identify, develop, and implement process improvements and automation solutions to enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, and improve the accuracy and consistency of reporting and financial processes.
• Lead efforts to centralize data collection, maintain data accuracy, and ensure compliance with established policies in partnership with Internal Audit, Legal, and Field Operations.
• Identify and implement procedures and controls to ensure compliance with client contracts.
• Apply critical thinking skills to make independent assessments, articulate recommendations, and defend conclusions.
• Understand data drivers to provide support and follow-up analysis to sector finance and key customers.
