Job summary

Captive Resources, LLC is seeking a Premium Analyst to support the financial operations of Health Solutions by overseeing premium allocation, developing analytical tools, and strengthening cross‑departmental transparency.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree (or related experience) and at least one year of accounting experience, with preferred experience posting premiums and using Access and Power BI. Hybrid work at 1100 Arlington Heights Rd, Itasca, IL.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or related experience required.
At least 1 year accounting experience with a Managing General Underwriter or Third-Party Administrator preferred.
Experience posting premiums preferred.
Experience generating reports using Access and Power BI.

Responsibilities

Interact with internal teammates and external partners on accounting issues.
Coordinate with departments on enrollment variations.
Develop/demonstrate dashboards and reports using Access and Power BI.
Analyze monthly premium activity in Connexure ESL for accuracy per policyholder agreements.
Prepare carrier bordereaux, cession reports and premium remittance schedules.
Lead monthly premium reconciliation, including variance analysis.
Maintain monthly premium remittance documentation in Connexure ESL and Policyholder folders.
Support treasury with monthly cash receipts and remittances.
Investigate discrepancies and propose corrective actions.
Drive process improvements and explore automation opportunities.
