Job summary

Health Care Service Corp. is seeking a finance professional to support management in budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling for operating expenses of an insurance-focused business.

You will update models, develop cost estimates and analyze performance metrics to guide strategic decisions. In this hybrid role, you will collaborate with business leaders to prepare SG&A budgets, monthly forecasts and long-term plans, and you will produce variance and KPI reports to drive resource

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics or Finance and 4 years business experience in corporate financial reporting and budgeting or IT operational functions in IT Financials OR 7 years business experience in corporate financial reporting and budgeting or IT operational functions in IT Financials.
• Experience with PeopleSoft, Ariba, ITAM, ISAM, Clarity, eBudget.
• Experience in SSD or ITG budget preparation.
• Customer service skills including managing customers’ expectations and/or vendor relationships.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
• PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, MS Access, and PowerPoint.
• Detail orientated.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor budget/expense data and financial performance metrics for operating expenses.
• Create financial models and cost estimations for business cases.
• Assist in annual SG&A budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Produce and analyze variance, staffing, and corporate financial reports.
