Job summary

Per Scholas is seeking a Financial Coach to support learners and alumni on pathways to financial stability and wealth building. This role blends one-on-one coaching, group education, and resource navigation.

Based in a hybrid environment with remote work and periodic onsite tasks, you will document sessions in Salesforce, track outcomes, and collaborate with the Learner Support and Financial Coaching teams to expand financial wellness across the program.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Active Financial Coaching certification or license required (e.g., AFC® or equivalent).
• Comfortable utilizing Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Salesforce, Slack, Zoom, and Canva.
• Strong public speaking, presentation, and written communication skills.
• Passion for personal finance, financial education, economic justice, and equity; working with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one Financial Coaching to Learners and Alumni, focusing on financial goal-setting, behavior change, and long-term financial wellness.
• Develop, facilitate, and implement engaging Financial Coaching content and workshops on core financial topics.
• Create and maintain dynamic national and local tools, including articles, tip sheets, and instructional worksheets.
• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations and government agencies for referrals.
• Document coaching sessions and track outcomes in Salesforce; report on progress and impact.
