Duck Energy is seeking a Financial Analyst to support accounting, budgeting, and reporting for the Power Grid Operations Midwest unit. The role involves analyzing variances, planning, and providing financial insights to business partners.

The position blends technical and functional financial reporting skills and requires collaboration across levels. The role supports monthly, quarterly, and year-end processes, with potential for level placement based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 1+ years of relevant experience for Analyst I; 2+ years for Analyst II.
• Foundational accounting/finance concepts and procedures.
• Experience with financial applications (PeopleSoft, HFM, PowerPlan) and WebI.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial, accounting, and business management analytical support to management and customers.
• Budget development for supported functions.
• Report variances, trends, and plans; assist in monthly/quarterly close.
• Prepare journal entries and accruals as needed.
• Perform account reconciliations and assist auditors.
