Job summary

Siemens Mobility seeks a Commercial Project Manager (CPM) - Finance Controller to drive financial control across Cypress, CA projects. The role partners with Sales and Project Managers to optimize project performance, revenue recognition, and risk management while coordinating with Finance, Legal, and customers.

You will help lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning, ensuring compliance with IFRS and US GAAP. Strong communication and SAP experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business and Siemens-related experience.
• 4+ years of work experience in commercial project controlling/management in complex construction projects.
• Proficiency with SAP modules and Microsoft Office tools.
• Willingness to travel 10-20% and authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Oversee bid preparation, review terms with Legal, and ensure compliance during project execution.
• Partner with Project Manager to identify risks, opportunities, and mitigation actions.
• Prepare and present commercial topics in project meetings and manage customer requirements.
• Ensure timely invoicing, manage receivables, and maximize cash flow.
• Maintain contract and claim management to protect project margins.
