Job summary

Siemens Energy in Orlando seeks a Project Controller / Commercial Project Manager for Real Estate Finance to serve as a finance partner to the project management team, owning budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for a portfolio of large-scale construction projects.

You will collaborate across Finance, Accounting, Operations, Procurement, and Legal to ensure projects align with approved business cases and strategic goals. Strong IFRS/GAAP, SAP, and English skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting is required; a Master’s degree or CPA is preferred.
• 5+ years of hands-on professional experience in Finance, Controlling, Project Finance, or related financial roles.
• Strong experience with Financial Planning & Analysis and business case modeling, including investment approvals and profitability analysis.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Local GAAP, PP&E and CAPEX accounting; IFRS 16 lease accounting preferred.
• Mandatory experience with SAP financial/project modules; advanced English communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial execution and controlling of a portfolio of Real Estate construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, cost recognition, and reporting.
• Partner with Real Estate Project Directors to prepare investment approvals and business cases with profitability analyses.
• Establish and maintain SAP project structures (WBS) and ensure timely month-end closings.
• Ensure IFRS/GAAP compliance and strong internal controls; identify risks and opportunities for forecast improvement.
• Prepare clear project financial status reports, forecasts, variances, and management updates for senior leadership.
• Serve as a trusted finance partner across Real Estate, collaborating with Accounting, Operations, Procurement, and Legal to resolve financial issues.
