Job summary

The Fund for Public Health in New York City (FPHNYC) is seeking a Finance and Operations Manager to manage NYC REACH financial processes and operations within BEHS. This hybrid role reports to the Director of Communications and Operations and supports grant budgeting, forecasting, and staffing for high-need communities.

Responsibilities include tracking staff allocation, budgeting, onboarding, and fostering team culture while coordinating with FPHNY and DOHMH finance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years related experience in operations, business administration or finance.
• Budget management experience required.
• Financial forecasting experience required.
• Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook) skills.
• Experience using Salesforce or other CRM software is a plus, but not required.
• HR experience, a plus.
• Demonstrates a commitment to achieving health equity.

Responsibilities

• Finance: Track and forecast staff allocation on grants; maintain budget and forecasting tools; provide monthly status updates to NYC REACH leadership; collaborate with BEHS/DOHMH finance teams to reconcile budgets.
• Personnel Operations: Facilitate recruitment and onboarding processes; coordinate team culture activities; manage staffing lists and work with BEHS/division leaders on workstation and supply issues.
• Other duties as assigned to support the overall goals and mission of the department/organization.
