Job summary

AARP is seeking a Business Operations Analyst to support budgeting, procurement, and reporting across a nationwide organization. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement processes and track budgets, invoices, and lobbying information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with complex budgeting and forecasting.
• Demonstrated success in managing budgets to within a 3 percent variability.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.

Responsibilities

• Provides financial operations support including budgeting, procurement, processing transactions, and other duties for a business unit or department.
• Works collaboratively across the enterprise to support new or ongoing processes and initiatives and serves as a liaison with other departments and/or vendors.
• Supports internal clients on a variety of group- or organization-wide projects, programs, processes, and business initiatives.
• Liaises with other teams to execute tasks and serves as central point of contact for all business processes across the department.
