Job summary

Kforce Inc. is seeking a Manager IT Finance Applications in Chicago, IL, offering a hybrid work schedule. The role leads a Finance Systems team to deliver technology solutions for GL, AP, and financial planning, partnering with Finance to meet strategic objectives.

You will manage cross-functional projects, drive process improvements, and collaborate with reporting and data teams to support BI initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information systems, finance, or business.
7+ years of experience supporting, implementing, or managing enterprise business applications.
Experience leading 2–7 direct reports and cross-functional project teams.
Strong understanding of GL, AP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial transactions.
Ability to translate business needs into technology solutions and partner with Finance leaders.
Experience with finance-focused ERP/EPM platforms and system upgrades or transformations.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Finance Systems professionals.
Manage performance, workload, and career development of direct reports.
Partner with Finance leadership to deliver technology solutions for financial operations.
Act as liaison between Finance and IT to align priorities and communicate status.
Lead projects involving financial systems, process improvements, and integrations.
Oversee testing, deployment, and ongoing application support.
