Job summary

Farnsworth Group, a nationwide architectural engineering and surveying firm, seeks a Finance Director to provide strategic financial leadership, oversee planning, analysis and reporting, and partner with the CFO and senior leaders to drive growth and financial integrity.

You will lead M&A due diligence, FP&A, cash flow modeling, CapEx, and risk management, develop rolling forecasts, KPI dashboards, and coordinate capital planning across business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a business-related field required.
• MBA is an alternative option to a bachelor’s degree in business.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance experience with 3–5 years in a senior finance leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial due diligence for potential acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
• Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate valuations, deal structures, and synergies.
• Coordinate with legal counsel and internal constituents through the transaction lifecycle.
• Prepare executive-level M&A memos and board materials.
• Support post-close integration activities including financial systems consolidation.
