Job summary

CFS is offering a newly created Manager, Accounting & Finance role in Wallingford, CT with a hybrid work schedule (2 days onsite). You will work closely with a senior finance leadership team on SEC reporting, technical accounting, budgeting, forecasting, SOX, and equity compensation.

This is a high-visibility position with significant mentorship and growth potential. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with CPA or active pursuit preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• CPA or CPA candidates actively pursuing certification preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Support SEC reporting processes, including preparation of financial statements, disclosures, earnings release support, and related filing documentation.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analyses focused on operational performance, income statement trends, and balance sheet activity.
• Manage equity compensation accounting and reporting, including stock options, RSUs, PSUs, and related compliance activities.
• Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including consolidation and analysis of departmental submissions.
• Support technical accounting research, SOX compliance initiatives, impairment assessments, and internal control documentation.
