Job summary

CFS in Connecticut is seeking a Finance Manager to join its growing, publicly traded finance team. This newly created role offers direct exposure to executive leadership and broad responsibilities across accounting and FP&A, with a clear path for long-term growth.

The position provides SEC reporting, financial statement analysis, budgeting and strategic finance work, plus a hybrid schedule with two onsite days.

Qualifications

• Experience with SEC reporting, including 10-K and 10-Q filings.
• Background in public accounting or publicly traded company environments.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support SEC reporting activities including 10-Qs, 10-Ks, and related disclosures.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports and financial statements.
• Perform financial statement analysis, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow analysis.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A initiatives.
• Partner with operations, procurement, sales, and executive leadership to support business decisions.
• Assist with equity accounting, stock-based compensation, and related reporting.
• Conduct technical accounting research and support accounting policy initiatives.
• Lead and participate in special projects and strategic finance initiatives.
• Support compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements.
