Job summary

The Accountant works onsite to provide financial management services that include the day-to-day management of vendors, contracts, credit cards, and accounts payable, assist payroll entry, and various general ledger account reconciliations. Recommends, develops, designs, implements, and maintains upgrades and improvements to procedures and systems as assigned.

Supports the Finance team in department-related administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial work.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting concepts.
• Proficient in Excel and spreadsheet-based analyses.
• Experience with general ledger and accounts payable processes.
• Ability to coordinate tasks and communicate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with payroll interfaces and tax reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, vendor setup, and 1099 reporting.
• Maintain vendor records and assist with bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support auditors with schedules and documentation as needed.
• Assist payroll entries and HR-related payroll deductions.
