Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent Staff Accountant for a hybrid role with work-from-home flexibility and occasional in-office needs. The position focuses on financial reporting, accounting, analysis, accounts payable, and payroll in the construction sector.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with financial software and advanced MS Excel. A Bachelor's in accounting/related field is required; a Master's or CPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Master's degree or CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, analysis, AP, and payroll.
• GAAP knowledge required.
• Proficiency with financial software and advanced Excel.
• Construction industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and reports with timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure prompt invoicing and payments.
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist with budgeting and financial planning.
• Support the annual audit process with documentation and information.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance.
