Job summary

Mann is seeking a Field Service Technician to support installation and maintenance of production equipment across multiple sites with a primary base in Goldsboro, NC. The role is hybrid with substantial travel up to 70–80% both domestically and internationally when required, including nights away from home.

Key duties include driving TPM processes, maintaining mechanical systems, overseeing spare parts, and ensuring documentation meets ISO standards while collaborating with maintenance teams

Qualifications

• Technical school degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical or Maintenance Equipment Engineering or 5+ years in mechanical maintenance in manufacturing.
• Experience with fabrication processes and production procedures.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and documentation practices.
• Experience with machine management and maintenance coordination.
• Familiar with pneumatics, general electrical, and tool/part identification.
• Forklift/Scissor Lift certification/experience.
• Experience with CMMS systems (FIIX, SAP, etc.).
• Willingness to travel up to 70–80% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Ensure mechanical processes are reliable, cost-effective and compliant with standards.
• Support spare parts categorization to minimize downtime on-site.
• Lead TPM implementation across plants and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Manage machinery and equipment maintenance within production facilities.
• Assist Maintenance Manager on projects, troubleshooting, and training maintenance staff.
• Initiate corrective actions and maintain up-to-date documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in equipment design.
• Maintain documentation per ISO standards.
