Job summary

BSN SPORTS, A VARSITY BRANDS COMPANY in the East Bay, California, is seeking a Field Sales Pro for a hybrid role that blends home office and on-site engagement with schools and events.

You will drive full-cycle sales, service coaches, and maximize opportunities across multiple sports. Candidates should have 3+ years of B2B outside sales or coaching background, with a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years B2B outside sales experience (preferably in sporting goods) or coaching/sports background.
• Associate degree or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must have and maintain a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class, consultative customer service to coaches across an assigned territory and do everything possible to make their lives easier.
• Generate revenue and meet sales/growth targets.
• Actively develop and qualify leads within the territory through cold-calling and lead generation campaigns.
• Demonstrate resilience to handle rejection and persistence to turn challenges into opportunities.
• Navigate the company's CRM for prospecting, account management, and activity tracking.
• Increase sales in existing accounts by selling to all sports at all levels.
• Utilize data-driven business intelligence on prospects to identify trends and opportunities.
• Manage your account list and travel within your territory.
