Job summary

BSN SPORTS, A VARSITY BRANDS COMPANY, in Morganton, NC, seeks a Field Sales Professional to act as a consultative partner to schools, clubs, and community programs within the assigned territory. You will drive full-cycle sales from prospecting to account management and service, leveraging CRM tools and data to grow the pipeline.

You will build relationships across departments, expand multi-sport penetration, and deliver best-in-class support while traveling locally and regionally as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ B2B outside sales experience (preferably in sporting goods) OR coaching/sports-related background.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience but a bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Must have and maintain a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative customer service to coaches in an assigned territory and strive to ease their workflow.
• Generate revenue and meet sales/growth targets.
• Develop and qualify leads within the territory through cold-calling and campaigns.
• Navigate CRM to support sales and customer relationship efforts.
• Travel within the territory 2–5+ days per week to manage local accounts.
