Job summary

Wesco International, a leading distributor and logistics solutions provider, seeks a Supervisor - Field Inventory to lead on-site inventory management for multiple accounts. You will oversee a team delivering VMI, vending, and customer support, ensuring accurate counts, timely replenishments, and strong service levels.

You will partner with Sales and Operations to improve field execution, manage key accounts, and identify new sales opportunities. Travel up to 75–100% is required.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• 3 years inventory experience in electrical/industrial sectors.
• 3 years resolving technical issues.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 75–100%.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Field Inventory Technician team; coach and develop; manage performance and attendance.
• Ensure on-site inventory counts and reconciliation per VMI/Kanban.
• Monitor vending machine inventory, maintenance, and system functionality.
• Maintain accurate digital documentation for each location and inventory mapping.
• Support customer presentations and identify new sales opportunities.
• Escalate complex issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee workload and territory coverage; allocate resources for VMI opportunities.
