Job summary

Excelsior is seeking an FSS Associate to provide operational, communications, and data coordination support to strengthen faculty and student success. The role reports to the Senior FSS Coordinator and ensures consistency across academic processes, communications, and faculty management while supporting academic integrity, student engagement, and program operations.

The position features a hybrid schedule with two on-site days in Albany, NY and the flexibility to work remotely on other days,

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• At least 1 year of related experience in an educational setting.
• Experience in adult/continuing education is desirable.
• Comfort using data collection and analysis tools for college initiatives.
• Strong email and phone etiquette; timely follow‑through.
• Proficient with Monday.com, MS Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and templates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute timely communications to faculty regarding key dates and policy updates.
• Monitor credential records and verify trainings; update systems for compliance.
• Assist with faculty curriculum committees and administrative tasks.
• Manage scheduling and logistics for faculty meetings and initiatives.
• Serve as first point of contact for technical challenges in course delivery.
• Support residency activities and student engagement events and awards.
• Analyze course evaluation data and prepare reports for department chairs.
• Triage and manage academic integrity submissions and related communications.
