Job summary

Journey, a global design and innovation agency, seeks an Experience Design Strategist in New York for hybrid work at our Broadway studio. You will collaborate with architects, interior designers, and SMEs to co-author strategic materials, conduct client workshops, and drive experience design through research and storytelling.

Ideal candidates have a design strategy background in interior/architectural design, strong presentation and writing skills, and the ability to work independently within

Qualifications

• B.Arch or B.A. Interior Design degree.
• 3+ years of post-graduate experience in a similar role.
• Stellar presentation and copywriting skills.
• Strong documentation skills using Google Slides, Adobe InDesign, and MS PowerPoint.
• Experience with 3D modelling software and spatial design knowledge.
• Experience with collaborative platforms like Miro or Mural.
• Experience independently and with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience self-managing deadlines and tasks.
• Experience with brands in retail, hospitality, entertainment, education, or healthcare is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with design team and external clients to translate needs into design solutions.
• Present and communicate design concepts effectively to clients.
• Conduct research to gather insights for design projects.
• Provide feedback on details to ensure optimal user experience.
• Refine and improve design elements to create memorable experiences.
• Stay updated on market trends, consumer behavior, and emerging technologies in experience design.
