NPR is seeking an Executive Assistant to the Marketing and Communications leadership in Washington, DC. This role provides high-level administrative partnership, manages calendars, coordinates travel, prepares briefings, and supports governance engagements across NPR networks.

The position requires 3+ years of senior-level support, strong communication, and a commitment to discretion in handling confidential information. Hybrid work is available with in-person days at NPR facilities.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of progressive administrative experience supporting senior-level leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex scheduling, travel itineraries, and expense reporting with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven proofreading accuracy and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality, discretion, and tact when handling sensitive leadership information.
• Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and track multiple administrative deliverables under firm deadlines.
• Experience supporting workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Aufgaben

• Manage complex, dynamic daily schedules and executive calendars, proactively resolving conflicts.
• Coordinate end-to-end travel arrangements and logistics for leadership; reconcile expenses and invoices.
• Prepare briefing materials, agendas, and background documents for leadership meetings and board sessions.
• Triage inquiries, route action items, and monitor division email and workflows.
• Plan internal/external meetings, conferences, and division retreats with logistics and catering.
• Record minutes and maintain organized digital filing across Google Workspace.
• Serve as administrative point of contact for office supplies and facilities requests.
• Support onboarding sessions and culture initiatives for the team.
