Job summary

Computer World Services in Virginia Hampton is seeking a Messaging and Collaboration Administrator to manage a hybrid Exchange environment, handle mail flow, and oversee mailbox licensing while leveraging AD/Azure AD, PowerShell, and Teams to keep communications secure and reliable.

The role requires Active Secret Clearance and Security+ or equivalent certification, with familiarity in M365 Defender and Purview.

Qualifications

• Experience with on-prem and cloud tools including AD/AAD, Cloud EAC, and MS Purview.
• Proficient in troubleshooting exchange servers and cloud exchange environments including mail flow and mailbox licensing.
• Familiar with PowerShell scripting and remediation ticketing systems.
• Security+ or equivalent IAT II certification required.

Responsibilities

• Manage user accounts in AD/Azure AD.
• Manage distribution lists and shared mailboxes.
• Troubleshoot Outlook and cloud mailbox issues.
• Manage mailbox cloud licenses.
• Work with Tier III and other Tier II support groups.
• Use AD and Exchange tools for troubleshooting.
• Use PowerShell cmdlets and scripts to manage Exchange.
• Provide Microsoft Teams support.
• Work with Microsoft to troubleshoot system issues.
• Shadow intermediate technicians to advance knowledge.
