Etherio in Atlanta is seeking an Event Manager to oversee day-to-day operations for meetings and large conferences. You will manage client projects, coordinate with multiple departments, and lead on-site execution with a focus on attendee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4 years of meeting management or hospitality management experience.
• Expertise with Cvent, Stova (Aventri), or similar registration platforms.
• Experience with Smartsheet.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Strategic decision-making ability.
• Adaptability and flexibility.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of small to medium meetings or manage a client on large conferences.
• Collaborate with sites on venue contracts and requirements.
• Coordinate registration reporting and database needs with the team.
• Develop timelines and manage them.
• Secure keynote speakers and manage presentations communications.
• Coordinate with Exhibit/Sponsor team on prospectus and communications.
• Manage budgeting, reporting, and wrap-up with accounting support.
• Coordinate with Marketing on collateral and branding.
• Assist with on-site event management and attendee management.
