Job summary

SHRM, the Society for Human Resource Management, seeks a Specialist, Event Engagement to plan, coordinate, and execute attendee experiences from executive gatherings to large conferences up to 26,000 attendees. The role supports branding, content, vendor coordination, and live production across multiple events in a hybrid in-office/remote schedule.

You will manage projects from planning through onsite delivery, partnering with SHRM teams and external partners, manage timelines and budgets, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in PR/marketing/event agency or in-house for brands.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute event branding across assets.
• Coordinate signage, entertainment, and vendors onsite.
• Lead run-of-show, scripts, and stage production docs.
• Collaborate with internal partners and external vendors.
