Job summary

Toyota’s Battery Manufacturing North Carolina (TBMNC) seeks an Engineer I to support HEV battery production. You will assist in budget planning, provide engineering solutions to improve manufacturing indicators, and manage process changes, while upholding Toyota’s culture of continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll collaborate with production, maintenance, quality and other departments to deliver reliable, safe manufacturing processes and contribute to cost and

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, quality, or project management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including second shift on occasion.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams with strong communication and visualization skills.
• Experience with production operations and equipment (electrical, mechanical, PLC, robotics, safety).

Responsibilities

• Mass Production Engineering support for Battery Manufacturing.
• Identify and solve problems on the production floor with hands-on approach.
• Use data-driven methods to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
• Lead process and equipment change management and drive innovative engineering activities.
• Establish and manage budget planning and project execution.
• Propel proactive problem solving and continual improvement of group conditions.
