Job summary

GTS in New York is seeking a Quantitative Trader to join the ETF Fixed Income Team. You will work on existing strategies and develop profitable trading ideas as part of a multidisciplinary group of traders and technologists.

You will collaborate with senior traders, apply kdb/q or Python to model opportunities, and help drive revenue while learning how the trading desk evaluates risk and execution.

Qualifications

• 1+ years working as Quantitative Trader with Fixed Income or Fixed Income ETF products.
• Deep understanding of mathematics and statistics.
• Strong programming skills in kdb/q and/or Python.

Responsibilities

• Work on existing strategies and develop profitable trading strategies as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Collaborate with senior traders to evaluate trading opportunities and drive revenue.
• Gain insight into how the trading desk operates and how opportunities are evaluated.
