  • Analyze large, complex datasets to identify patterns and opportunities using statistical and computational techniques.

  • Design rigorous research methods to evaluate new ideas and improve model performance across different market environments.

  • Collaborate with traders and quantitative developers to translate promising research into production systems.

  • Monitor the performance of live models and refine them based on empirical results.

  • Contribute to the desk’s research priorities and promote high standards for research quality, reproducibility, and communication.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant quantitative research or trading experience, ideally in international equities or ETFs.

  • Demonstrated success modeling securities over intraday through multi-day horizons.

  • The ability to build pricing or forecasting frameworks from the ground up.

  • Strong Python skills and experience turning research into reliable production tools.

  • Deep knowledge of global market structure, including trading hours, auctions, currency dynamics, and local market conventions.

  • A strong foundation in statistics, data analysis, and empirical research methods.

  • A bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in a quantitative discipline.

  • Excellent judgment, attention to detail, communication skills, and a strong bias toward ownership and automation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ETF market making or index-rebalance strategies.

  • Familiarity with corporate actions and cross-listed securities, including ADRs and GDRs.

  • Experience modeling or managing overnight and multi-day risk.
