Job summary

WVU Medicine seeks an Associate Systems Analyst - Software Trainer (Outpatient Clinical Staff) to join the IT Training team. This hybrid role focuses on developing and delivering training for Epic Ambulatory (outpatient) clinical applications and supporting staff across WVU Medicine.

You will collaborate with clinical and operational teams to support new implementations, workflow changes, system enhancements, and ongoing education, helping staff use Epic effectively in daily work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or two years of relevant experience.
• Target completion within 90 days for certifications after formal WVUHS IT training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnosing and resolving IT issues to maintain system functionality.
• Support system modifications, implementation, and testing for basic workflows.
• Participate in functional and integrated testing and document results.
• Assist with user security management under guidance of senior analysts.
• Deliver end-user training and provide ongoing systems support.
• Collaborate with team members to plan, document, and report on projects.
