Job summary

Coneco Engineers & Scientists is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to oversee environmental investigation, remediation, and due diligence projects across MA and RI. You will coordinate field activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver high-quality reports to clients.

The role requires strong project management, knowledge of MCP/NH DES/RI DEM regulations, and the ability to mentor junior staff while maintaining weekly progress updates with senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of environmental consulting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of MCP, NH DES, RI DEM, and federal environmental regulations.
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
• Possess a valid driver’s license in good standing and reliable transportation to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental investigation, remediation, and due diligence projects in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Oversee project execution, regulatory compliance, field coordination, reporting, and client communication.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff and collaborate with senior management.
• Maintain project budgets and deliverables; prepare weekly progress reports.
