Job summary

Coneco Engineers & Scientists is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to lead environmental investigations, remediation, and due diligence projects across MA, RI, NH, and beyond. You will ensure regulatory compliance, manage field activities, and maintain clear communication with clients and regulators.

The role emphasizes project execution, mentorship of junior staff, and staying current with MCP, NH DES, RI DEM, and EPA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years environmental consulting experience.
• Strong knowledge of MCP, NH DES, RI DEM, and federal environmental regulations.
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
• Possess a valid driver’s license in good standing and reliable transportation to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental investigation, remediation, and due diligence projects.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and client communication.
• Coordinate field activities, scheduling, laboratory delivery, and reports.
• Prepare and review Phase I ESA site walkovers and initial reports.
• Provide weekly progress reports to the Senior Project Manager.
• Direct Emergency Response activities and field coordination.
• Mentor junior staff and maintain billable hours.
