Job summary

Coneco Engineers & Scientists, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to lead environmental investigation, remediation, and due diligence projects from our offices in Bridgewater, MA; Westford, MA; or Providence, RI.

You will manage regulatory compliance, coordinate field teams, prepare reports, and communicate with clients and regulators. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of environmental consulting, strong knowledge of MCP, NH DES, RI DEM, and EPA requirements, and a proven ability to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of environmental consulting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of MCP, NH DES, RI DEM, and federal environmental regulations.
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
• Possess a valid driver's license in good standing and reliable transportation to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental investigation, remediation, and due diligence projects per state and federal regulations.
• Oversee project execution, regulatory compliance, field coordination, reporting, and client communication.
• Provide oversight for Phase I ESA site walkovers and initial report reviews; mentor junior staff.
• Administer project deadlines and weekly progress reports to the Senior Project Manager.
• Direct Emergency Response activities, including MA DEP reporting, safety briefings, and field coordination.
