The role requires a Bachelor’s in environmental planning or related field, 5+ years CEQA/NEPA experience, and strong research and writing skills, with preferred Master’s degree and AICP certification. Compensation ranges from $35.00–$45.00 hourly with annualized pay of about $72,800–$93,600.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Planning, Urban Planning, Environmental Science, Environmental Policy, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience preparing CEQA and/or NEPA documents.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience managing CEQA and/or NEPA documents or comparable assignments.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the CEQA process and California environmental and regulatory setting.

Responsabilités

• Prepare CEQA and NEPA documents and supporting environmental analyses.
• Manage routine to moderately complex CEQA and NEPA documents.
• Conduct environmental research and regulatory analysis.
• Coordinate with clients, technical specialists, agencies, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Track assigned project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Assist with agency coordination and environmental permitting.
• Prepare proposals and support business development activities.
• Provide technical support and informal mentoring to junior staff, as appropriate.
