Job summary

ECORP Consulting, Inc. seeks a Staff Environmental Planner to join our Chico, CA office on a hybrid schedule. You will independently prepare environmental planning documents and manage assignments while collaborating with clients and project teams.

The role requires 5+ years CEQA/NEPA experience, strong writing skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities. A Master’s degree is preferred and Caltrans/USACE experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Planning, Urban Planning, Environmental Science, Environmental Policy, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience preparing CEQA and/or NEPA documents.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience managing CEQA/NEPA documents or related assignments.
• Demonstrated knowledge of CEQA process and California environmental regulation.
• Strong research, analytical and technical writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare CEQA and NEPA documents and supporting analyses.
• Manage routine to moderately complex CEQA/NEPA documents.
• Conduct environmental research and regulatory analysis.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Track project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Assist with agency coordination and environmental permitting.
• Prepare proposals and support business development.
• Provide technical support and mentoring to junior staff.
