Job summary

ProSource Technologies in Minneapolis, MN is seeking an Environmental Group Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team supporting the development, permitting, and execution of energy infrastructure projects, including pipelines, powerlines, solar, and wind facilities.

This hybrid role requires extensive travel and combines business development, staff leadership, and technical oversight to expand the firm’s energy-sector client base and project backlog.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, Planning, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting or related field with focus on energy or infrastructure projects.
• Proven success in business development and client relationship management.
• Experience permitting and environmental review for energy projects.
• Experience managing staff and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of NEPA, state environmental regulations, and permitting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support business development initiatives for energy-sector clients, including utilities, developers, and engineering partners.
• Identify and pursue opportunities related to pipeline, powerline, solar, and wind permitting and NEPA compliance.
• Prepare and review proposals, scopes of work, and cost estimates.
• Maintain client relationships and act as a trusted advisor on environmental permitting and regulatory strategy.
• Provide technical leadership and strategic oversight for environmental permitting and compliance efforts.
• Oversee preparation and review of environmental documents, including NEPA/state reviews, studies, impact assessments, and permitting applications.
• Guide permitting strategies for linear infrastructure and renewable energy projects.
• Manage staff, budgets, and schedules; ensure quality and performance.
