Job summary

WSP Global Inc. seeks an Environmental Compliance Consultant to join the Earth & Environment Team in Exton, PA (Hybrid). This mid-level role focuses on supporting industrial environmental compliance programs, regulatory audits, and technical reporting while mentoring junior staff.

You will work on NPDES stormwater programs, SWPPPs, SPCC/tank management, RCRA reporting, EPCRA/TI, and broader regulatory compliance tasks, with travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Earth Science or a related discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience with U.S. environmental laws including RCRA, CERCLA/SARA, CWA, and CAA, plus NJ/PA regulations.
• Experience evaluating and maintaining environmental regulatory compliance in industrial settings.
• Strong analytical, independent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites on short notice; overnight travel required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Experience with Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ASTM E1527-13), air permitting, asbestos surveys, PSCI auditing/compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental compliance program support for industrial clients, including development and review of programs focused on NPDES stormwater permitting, SWPPPs, SPCC and storage tank management, RCRA reporting, EPCRA/TI reporting.
• Conduct environmental regulatory compliance audits and synthesize findings for clients.
• Prepare written and verbal technical reports and presentations of audits and field investigations.
• Manage tasks and projects per client-approved scopes of work and deliver high-quality reports on time and within budget.
• Mentor junior staff and assist in developing client relationships.
