Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Entry Project Controls Specialist to join our Project Controls Team. The role supports budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and reporting, collaborating with project managers and teams to ensure successful project performance.

The ideal candidate has basic knowledge of project management methodologies, strong communication skills, and familiarity with Primavera and EcoSys in a hybrid work environment. Travel may be required on a limited basis.

Qualifications

• Entry level knowledge of project management methodology including budget development and planning.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills with staff and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Supports compliance with internal procedures and updates project data for schedule and costs.
• Develops time-phased project cost and resource forecasts and monitors deliverables.
• Generates and analyzes earned value reports and discusses observations with the project manager.
• Uses document management protocols to store and retrieve project docs.
• Performs other duties as required.
